Q: How long do the videos last?

A: It varies, but most are around 4-5 minutes each. Don't let the short duration fool you. These videos are packed with information. No fluff. The videos are only available within this course.

Q: How long will it take to complete a lesson?

A: The short answer is less than an hour. The longer answer is it depends on the student and the activity assigned to that lesson. Some students may need to review the video or transcript multiple times. Some students simply work faster. Some activities are very quick, others take more time. Even with all those variables, most students complete a lesson in well under an hour.

Q: What about the final project?

A: It will take longer than an hour! There is a presentation to prepare, then present. The topic and options for presentation are included in the course materials.

Q: You've included a LOT of pages in the Student Handbook and Educator Guidebook.
Do I HAVE to print them all?

A: No, it is totally up to you. Some students prefer keeping the file on their computer or another device. Others benefit from having a printed copy. For instance, I do not read well from a screen, so I learn best by watching a video and then reading a printed transcription. This course is designed to accommodate as many different learning styles as possible. That said, there are a couple of activities that you will need to print in order to complete them. Other things, like answering questions, could be done verbally, or answers could be written in a notebook

Q: We are a homeschooling family. Can all of my kids take this course?

A: Absolutely!! Your purchase is for one teacher in one classroom, and that perfectly describes a homeschool family. The license does not, however, include students outside of your immediate household.

Q: We're interested in The Story of the Pony Express course, too. When will it be available?

A: Our goal is to have it ready for release in the fall, 2021. Although the two courses are strongly related, they do not duplicate material, and it does not matter which course you take first.
